Ford Motor Company sponsored various contests throughout the U.S. to send people to the New York World's Fair. Luther Stephens won his trip for being the top Ford salesman in Raleigh, North Carolina, and second best in the state for February and March 1939. While at the fair, Stephens visited the displays at the Ford Exposition building.
