Dave Friedman has captured and preserved auto racing history through his photography. His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, vehicles, drivers, and teams. The 1961 Bahamas Speed Weeks featured world-class drivers competing in several sports car trophy races. Friedman snapped this shot during the competitions and at other tropical settings during the event.
