In 1929, Henry Ford purchased the Logan County, Illinois, courthouse in which Abraham Lincoln had practiced law in the 1840s. Ford had the building moved to Greenfield Village and filled it with Lincoln-related artifacts. The historic structure attracted those who studied and admired the 16th President. This photograph shows a meeting of the Abraham Lincoln Civil War Round Table of Michigan in the courthouse.
