Artifact Overview

Bruce McLaren (right), Teddy Mayer (center) and Denny Hulme were photographed in conversation at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 1966. McLaren won the race with co-driver Chris Amon, while Hulme finished second with co-driver Ken Miles. Mayer worked with McLaren on the latter's Formula One team, and he took over the operation after McLaren's death in 1970.
