01
Artifact Overview
The electrification of rural areas transformed work on the farm. Farmers were familiar with human, animal and mechanical power, but electrically powered equipment was completely new to them. This book, cooperatively produced between the Agricultural Engineering Department at Michigan State College (now MSU) and several electric companies, describes how to use electrically powered equipment in all areas of the farm.
