1967 Indianapolis 500 -- Item 4

Dave Friedman captured and preserved auto racing history through his photography. His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, cars, drivers, and teams. This photo, taken at the 1967 Indianapolis 500, shows winner A.J. Foyt driving the Chevrolet Camaro pace car with Mauri Rose, honorary pace car driver and a three-time Indy 500 winner himself.
