Dave Friedman has captured and preserved auto racing history through his photography. His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, vehicles, drivers, and teams. In 1960, eighteen drivers sped around the one-mile dirt track at the Golden State 100. A.J. Foyt raced to victory on his way to capturing the United States Auto Club National Championship.
