Artifact Overview
In the 1980s, curators at The Henry Ford organized a comprehensive exhibit of American silver and pewter in one of the museum's corridor galleries. The display explored various forms, styles and production methods used from the late 17th to early 20th centuries. Many prominent American silversmiths and retailers were represented. The display continued until 2016 when a new installation on the innovation of Studio glass began.
