Actors, authors, and artists have passed through the entrance gates; business leaders, royalty, politicians, and a host of others have toured the exhibits. In 1981, Stacey Keach and Bobby Lee, stars in the national tour of the Broadway musical Barnum, pretended to shoot pool on Tom Thumb's billiard table then on exhibit in the museum.
