Artifact Overview
White Star Line launched SS Doric in 1922. The 601-foot-long ocean liner was intended to serve Canada, and it sailed between Liverpool, England, and the Canadian ports of Quebec and Montreal for almost ten years. Doric collided with another ship in 1935. There were no casualties among the passengers or crew, but the liner itself was damaged beyond repair.
