Dave Friedman has captured and preserved auto racing history through his photography. His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, vehicles, drivers, and teams. This image was taken at the 1968 American Road Race of Champions (ARRC) held at Riverside, California. The ARRC brought together winners of regional competitions and crowned end-of-year champions in various sports car classes.
