In the 1973 case Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court ruled that abortion was a protected right, overruling state abortion laws. For "pro-choice" supporters, this victory protected a woman's right to choice in their reproductive healthcare. But for "pro-life" supporters, abortion was an affront to morality. This button supports the pro-choice side of the debate -- a debate that continued after the Court's decision.
