Arthur Augustus Zimmerman was one of the world's greatest cyclists in the early years of bicycle racing history. This image shows Zimmerman preparing for a time trial at an outdoor track in Waltham, Massachusetts. Two riders on a tandem, seen on the inside lane, paced Zimmerman during the trial.
