Parnelli Jones won the Trans-Am race at Laguna Seca on April 19, 1970. He drove the #15 Ford Mustang Boss 302. Jones received the Ken Miles Memorial Trophy. The prize was named in memory of British-born racing driver and engineer Ken Miles, who was killed in a crash in 1966 while testing a car for Ford's GT racing program.
