Ford service attendants and managers were expected to represent and uphold the company's high standards. Careful training, regular service bulletins, and specialized tools and equipment all helped these technicians in their work. Though white uniforms were not entirely practical in a garage environment, they suggested to customers that a Ford service garage was a clean and well-run establishment.
