Sports car racer Josie von Neumann won her first competition at California's Torrey Pines circuit in 1951, behind the wheel of an MG TD. She soon moved on to Porsches and Ferraris. Von Neumann earned no fewer than 18 victories from 1951 to 1959. She often raced against her stepfather, auto dealer and driver John von Neumann.
