Ken Miles and Denny Hulme finished second at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans in the #1 Ford GT40 Mark II. Ford swept the podium that year with a 1-2-3 finish. Second place was bittersweet for Miles, who'd won endurance races at Daytona and Sebring earlier in the year. A win at Le Mans would've meant a "triple crown."
