    Henry Ford and Edsel Ford were photographed in 1938 while visiting the construction site for the new tool-and-die building at Ford Motor Company's Rouge plant. The employees who staffed the finished building were among the most skilled workers at the Rouge. They designed, built, and repaired specialized tools and machines used throughout the factory complex.
