The Great Lakes Naval Training Station Bluejackets traveled to Dearborn, Michigan, to play the Ford All-Stars on July 14, 1943. The Bluejackets had two former Detroit Tigers on the team: outfielder Barney McCosky (left) and all-star catcher and Bluejackets' manager Mickey Cochran (3rd from left). Watching the game were several other former Tigers, including outfielder Jo-Jo White (2nd from left) and pitcher Elden Auker (right).
