Dave Friedman has captured and preserved auto racing history through his own photography and his collection of works by other photographers. This image documents the race-day atmosphere surrounding the 1968 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race. Lolas, Ford GT40s, and Chevrolet Camaros all made a run at the trophy, but two Porsches topped the podium in the end.
