Henry Hall (1893-1986) was a notable ski jumper, twice setting the world record for furthest distance jumped. He would go on to be inducted into multiple halls of fame related to the sport. He was also employed as a firefighter by Ford Motor Company. Ford regularly featured workers, such as Hall, and touted their activities and interests in factory and company newspapers.
