Artifact Overview
Life on a farm involves many chores, such as taking care of chickens and gathering eggs. Eggs are important to farm families not only as food -- they can be sold for extra money. It is believed that this flared, straight-sided wooden bowl was used by children in Finesville, New Jersey, to collect eggs in the 1880s.
