Camp Willow Run provided work and life skills training for underprivileged teenage boys during the Great Depression. The farm was located on land owned by Henry Ford near Ypsilanti, Michigan, some 35 miles west of Detroit. The camp closed in early 1941. It occupied a portion of the site chosen for Ford Motor Company's Willow Run bomber plant.
