Artifact Overview
The 1960 U.S. Grand Prix, the final World Championship Formula One event of the season, took place at Riverside, California. The championship title wasn't in doubt -- Jack Brabham had clinched that a few weeks earlier. Brabham finished fourth at Riverside, just behind his Cooper-Climax teammate Bruce McLaren. Team Lotus's Stirling Moss and Innes Ireland grabbed the top two spots.
