His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, vehicles, drivers, and teams. The 1967 Rex Mays 300 took place on the 2.6-mile road course at Riverside, California. Dan Gurney won in dramatic fashion by passing runner-up Bobby Unser on the last lap.
