August "Augie" Pabst, Jr., began his ten-year racing career in 1956 at Wisconsin's Milwaukee Mile, in his hometown. Mostly active in sports car competitions, Pabst earned national championships in 1959 and 1960. After retiring from motorsports, Pabst became an executive at his family's Pabst Brewing Company. He was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2011.
