Hungary's postal service issued this commemorative postage stamp in 1978 to mark the 50th anniversary of the transatlantic flight of the Bremen. Crewed by Hermann Kohl, James Fitzmaurice, and Ehrenfried Guenther von Huenefeld, the Bremen's flight was the first east-to-west crossing, made against prevailing westerly winds.
