It's the Mickey Mouse Club Show on ABC-TV and / it's "their show!" / And the TV idol of the very young set is Jimmie Dodd. In addi- / tion to his acting, dancing and musical ability, Jimmie is a talented / composer and lyric writer and has written many of the favorite / Mickey Mouse Club songs. His irrepressible spirit and rare under- / standing of children is responsible for the delightful performances of the Mouseketeers. He is never happier than when working with / these 24 "out-of-this-world kids" as he calls them. / Adding to the fun on the show is big, cheerful Roy Williams, six / feet and 250 pounds of humor. A story sketch creator and gag artist, / his main object is to get laughs. His small-fry admirers give him a / big hand as a top laugh-getter. / The 26 songs here represented by the original cast, are the high- / lights of the show and will provide hours and hours of entertainment / for every Mickey Mouse Club boy and girl. These are "their songs," / a variety of musical ideas that seem new and exciting every time / they hear them. There is the most popular kiddie record in the / country, "The Mickey Mouse Club March." Children love "The / Mouseketunes," among which are the gay "Cooking With Minnie / Mouse" and "Get Busy" with their home-helpful hints. / The popular "Pussy Cat Polka" and "The Humphrey Hop" are / in "The Mousekedances" group. Then there's the laughable Cliff / Edwards as "Jiminy Cricket" and the songs covering a wide range / of subjects such as shoes, pencils, telephones, animals and cowboys / in the "Fun With Music" set. Here, also, is the big favorite, "Old / MacDonald Had a Farm." / Indeed, a wonderful packaging of entertainment for young America! / Made in U.S.A.
