Darning Egg

01

Artifact Overview

Clothes can become threadbare and develop holes over time. Instead of throwing these garments away, people can repair the damaged areas. A darning egg creates tension in the fabric around the worn area so it does not bunch up, making repairs easy and helping prolong the life of well-worn socks, sweaters, and other garments.
