The New Jersey firm of Jerry O'Mahony Dining Cars became one of the leading diner manufacturers for decades, introducing hundreds of diners in numerous styles. The Olympia Diner opened at its Newington, Connecticut, location in 1954. One of Jerry O'Mahony's large diner-restaurants of the post-World War II era, it was brought to that location in three sections.
