Dave Friedman captured and preserved auto racing history through his photography. His work -- and his collection of works by other photographers -- documents key races, cars, and teams. The 4th annual Grand Prix for Sports Cars attracted some of the best-known U.S. and international drivers to the 3.275-mile course at Riverside, California, in 1961. Australian Jack Brabham bested the field.
