Artifact Overview
Henry Jackson founded the Jackson Vitrified China Company in the 1910s in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania. The company sold dinnerware and restaurant china for nearly 75 years. Paul McCobb (1917-1969), a well-known mid-century designer, created distinctive shapes and decorations for the company starting in the 1950s. The company reproduced his patterns for years after his death.
