Mose Nowland spent 57 years with Ford Motor Company, most of them building engines for its racing program. After retiring in 2012, Nowland volunteered in The Henry Ford's Conservation Department, where he cared for engines and race cars that he had helped build. Following Nowland's death in 2021, Ford honored him with decals on its NASCAR and NHRA competition cars.
