Sexual Shakedown: The Sexual Harassment of Women on the Job, 1978
01
Artifact Overview
As more women entered the workplace in the 1960s and 1970s, many faced sexual harassment, a term coined by Dr. Lin Farley in 1975. Dr. Farley later wrote Sexual Shakedown to track the long history of sexual harassment and call more attention to the issue. Her book would go on to inspire the first workplace training video on the subject.
