Artifact Overview
This children's book explains the traditions of Las Posadas, a nine-day celebration that takes place every December 16th to 24th. During the holiday, celebrants go door to door asking for entry, reenacting Mary and Joseph looking for shelter in Bethlehem. Finally, they arrive at a door where they are invited inside to celebrate -- often with food, presents, and a pinata.
