Artifact Overview

Angelo Testa (1921-1984) was one of the first graduates of the Chicago School of Design where famed Bauhaus designer László Moholy-Nagy was one of his instructors and inspirations. In 1947, Testa opened his own design company, which created printed textiles with abstract motifs. His customers were mostly architectural firms that used his designs in their projects.
