"Ferndale Proud" Ferndale Project Ale Can, 2021
01
Artifact Overview
Microbreweries emerged in the late 1900s as public interest in sustainable practices and made-from-scratch foods and beverages became popular and profitable. Many pursue ecologically friendly business practices (touting pure water and locally sourced or organic crops) and remind consumers of their shared responsibility. Ferndale Project celebrated MotorCity Pride, the largest LGBT event held in Michigan in 2021, with a sour ale in commemorative packaging.
