Artifact Overview

The Continental Can Company created a line of decorative metal kitchenware under the name Decoware in the 1950s. Items such as trays, cake tins, bread boxes, and canister sets often came in colorful floral, fruit, or plaid patterns. The company also produced this set of four graduated white canisters tastefully embellished with copper-colored lettering and a matching copper-colored lid.
