Inscriptions

on label: Sections of the underground cable employed by Edison during the second demonstration of his electric light system at Menlo Park in 1880-1. These were dug up at site of Edison's Menlo Park Home by Joseph F. McCoy, Edison Pioneer, on September 22, 1933.
