Costumes in storytelling help convey the essence of a character, and the pieces displayed in Heroes & Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume, shed light on the process of how costumes in our favorite movies come to be designed and preserved. In our latest installment of THF Conversations, Kate Morland, Senior Manager of Museum Programs & Exhibits at The Henry Ford interviews a panel of Disney experts to speak about our limited-time exhibition — Rebecca Cline, Director of the Walt Disney Archives, Joanna Pratt, Director, Operations & Business Strategy, The Walt Disney Company and Matthew Adams, Manager, Exhibitions at The Walt Disney Archives. “Heroes & Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume, presented by the Walt Disney Archives and KeyBank” is on display at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation through Jan. 1 and is free for members or with museum admission.
