She contacted writers, artists, politicians, military officers, and advocates for social movements such as abolition, temperance, and women's and civil rights, among others. Dewey compiled their replies, some of which include carte de visite photographs, in the pages of this album.

- Autographed Photo of "Our Gang" Actors, 1928 - Jack L. Maddux, owner of a Lincoln dealership in Los Angeles, sent autographed pictures of the <em>Our Gang</em> actors to Edsel Ford in 1929. Maddux thought that Ford's children might appreciate photos of the young stars posed on a Ford Tri-Motor airplane. More than 200 <em>Our Gang</em> film shorts were produced from 1922 to 1944.

For example, we know that this "album" quilt that utilizes the Pennsylvania German aesthetic was used by Anne Dawson Morrison (1798-1866), a prosperous Philadelphia Quaker.

Shelby played a vital role in Ford's campaign against Ferrari at Le Mans. He also collaborated with Ford and Chrysler on numerous special vehicles.
