- The Game of Life Board Game, circa 1960 - The Game of Life was introduced in 1960 to celebrate the Milton Bradley Company's 100th anniversary. It included new features for board games: a three-dimensional board and integral plastic spinner. Throughout the game, players "experienced" major life events -- like getting a new job or starting a family -- as they competed to earn the most assets.

- Blockhead! Game, 1954 - This game requires players to place one oddly shaped block on top of another without causing them to fall. A tower of colorful blocks grows with each successful addition. When a player adds a block and the tower falls, he loses. After the third loss, the player is declared a "Blockhead!" and is out of the game.

- Children's Games, School, 1902 - In 1890, Jenny Young Chandler, 25 years old and recently widowed, began working for the <em>New York Herald</em>. As a photojournalist and feature writer, Chandler captured life in Brooklyn, New York, and vicinity. By 1922, the time of her death, she had produced over 800 glass plate negatives. Her sensitive, insightful photographs depict people from all walks of life and the world in which they lived.
