Temporary Restraining Order to Stop Interference with Voter Registration in Selma, Alabama, Filed January 1965
- The Northlander: A Mimeographed Publication of the Fort Brady CCC District, March 1939 - President Franklin Roosevelt established the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1933 during the early years of the Great Depression. The Corps enlisted unemployed, single young men to work in America's public lands, forests, and national parks. The men earned $30 a month and received food, clothing, and lodging. More than 2 1/2 million men served by the time the program ended in 1942.

- District of Columbia License Plate, 1929 - Early state-issued license plates were made of porcelain-coated iron. Later, states stamped tin, steel, or even copper to make plates. During the Second World War several states used fiberboard. Plate colors varied and some states added symbols, mottoes, or other design elements. Today, states use reflective sheeting to coat a standard-sized aluminum blank which is then stamped and decorated.
