- Program for a Radio Broadcast of Dance Music Played by Henry Ford's Old-Time Dance Orchestra, 1944 - From January 1944 to July 1944, a Ford-sponsored half-hour radio program, "Early American Dance Music," featured Henry Ford's Old Time Orchestra. Broadcast live from Ford Motor Company's recording studio at the Engineering Laboratory, the program achieved a fair amount of popularity--though most of it with an older audience.

- Concert, Ford Symphony Gardens, Century of Progress International Exposition, Chicago, Illinois, 1934 - Ford Motor Company poured resources into the largest, most talked-about exhibition at Chicago's Century of Progress Exposition in 1934. The installation included Ford Symphony Gardens, an outdoor bandshell where fairgoers could relax and enjoy free performances. These concerts and plays broadened Ford's corporate presence at the fair and provided bonus advertising.

- Detroit Opera House, Detroit, Michigan, circa 1890 - The first Detroit Opera House stands behind a horse-drawn streetcar at Campus Martius, a former military training ground that became the "point of origin" of Detroit's coordinate street system and site of the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. Electric streetcar lines (note the wires strung above the streets) coexisted with horsecars in turn-of-the-ninteenth-century Detroit.
