- Telegram from Will Rogers to Henry Ford, October 18, 1929 - On October 21, 1929, Henry Ford hosted an event, Light's Golden Jubilee, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of Thomas Edison's invention of a practical incandescent lamp. The event also served as the official dedication of The Edison Institute, Ford's museum complex named in honor of his friend. At the last minute, Will Rogers found time to get away from a film he was making to attend.

On October 21, 1929, Henry Ford hosted an event, Light's Golden Jubilee, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of Thomas Edison's invention of a practical incandescent lamp. - Letter from Edsel Ford to Arno Cammerer regarding Shenandoah National Park Dedication, July 1, 1936 - After becoming friends with philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, Jr., Edsel Ford began to partner with him on numerous charitable efforts, including donating money to establish Great Smoky Mountains National Park. When Rockefeller found another way to completely cover the cost of the park, he suggested Ford transfer his donation over to Shenandoah National Park, to which Ford obliged.

Letter from Edsel Ford to Arno Cammerer regarding Shenandoah National Park Dedication, July 1, 1936
After becoming friends with philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, Jr., Edsel Ford began to partner with him on numerous charitable efforts, including donating money to establish Great Smoky Mountains National Park. When Rockefeller found another way to completely cover the cost of the park, he suggested Ford transfer his donation over to Shenandoah National Park, to which Ford obliged.

Firestone Farm in Greenfield Village," June 29, 1985 - In 1983, the Firestone family donated their circa 1828 Columbiana County, Ohio, farmstead to Greenfield Village. The farm had been the boyhood home of Harvey Firestone, who later became a tire and rubber magnate and friend of Henry Ford. On June 29, 1985, descendants of Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone along with former U.S. President Gerald Ford helped dedicate the newly installed farm.

Heinz valued a strong relationship between his company and its employees. This resulted in a world-class employee welfare program which included amenities, programs, and policies with consideration for employees' well-being. In 1924, to commemorate the company's 55th anniversary, employees erected a memorial statue as a token of their gratitude for their employer. This is a program from the celebration, called "A Golden Day."

H.J. Heinz valued a strong relationship between his company and its employees. This resulted in a world-class employee welfare program which included amenities, programs, and policies with consideration for employees' well-being.
