The girl's father, a former Ford employee, was out of work. Within days of receiving Hoover's inquiry, Ford rehired the man.
- Sexual Shakedown: The Sexual Harassment of Women on the Job, 1978 - As more women entered the workplace in the 1960s and 1970s, many faced sexual harassment, a term coined by Dr. Lin Farley in 1975. Dr. Farley later wrote <em>Sexual Shakedown</em> to track the long history of sexual harassment and call more attention to the issue. Her book would go on to inspire the first workplace training video on the subject.
