- Pets.com Sock Puppet, 1999-2000 - Pets.com was a web-based pet supply retailer and one of the most public victims of the "dot-com bubble burst" among Internet companies in the 1999-2001 period. Their popular mascot--a sock puppet dog--was created by TBWA Worldwide and voiced by comedian Michael Ian Black. It made appearances on talk shows, commercials, and as a float in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

- Burger King Alf Hand Puppet, 1988 - ALF, a marooned space alien from the planet Melmac, is the title character from a late-1980s sitcom. Paul Fusco created and operated the furry puppet for the television series that centered on ALF's escapades. In 1988, as part of its "The Many Faces of ALF" promotion, Burger King offered four different ALF hand puppets along with record albums featuring an original song.
