- Brochure, "Some Facts regarding the Oliver Wolcott House," Dearborn Inn Colonial Village, 1937 - By the mid-1930s, the Dearborn Inn, a popular luxury hotel, required additional accommodations to service travelers and visitors to the Edison Institute (later renamed The Henry Ford). The L.G. Treadway Service Corporation consulted with Edsel Ford and had five reproduction houses constructed behind the Inn. The exteriors were exact replicas of homes famous in American history, but guests found modern amenities inside.

This photo was taken at the Mission Bell 250, a Trans-Am race at California's Riverside International Raceway on September 8, 1968. Horst Kwech won with the #2 Ford Mustang from Shelby Racing.
- "McGuffey's New Fourth Eclectic Reader," Originally Published 1885, Reprinted by Henry Ford, 1930 - Henry Ford remembered fondly the McGuffey Readers he studied in the one-room schools of his youth. He even had them reprinted in 1930, so that students in his Edison Institute Schools could learn from them as well. Ford -- having looked up some of his childhood classmates -- gave this reprinted Reader to Olive Burdeno, who had attended school with Ford in the 1870s.

"McGuffey's New Fourth Eclectic Reader," Originally Published 1885, Reprinted by Henry Ford, 1930
Henry Ford remembered fondly the McGuffey Readers he studied in the one-room schools of his youth. - "The Young Mill-Wright and Miller's Guide," 1836 - This instructional handbook was originally written and published by Oliver Evans (1755-1819). In the late 1700s, Evans developed a continuous conveyor system for milling flour. <em>The Young Mill-Wright and Miller's Guide</em> explained his labor-saving innovations through text and technical illustrations. Published in fifteen editions between 1795 and 1860, the influential book helped revolutionize the flour-milling industry.

- Ford GT40 in 24 Hours of Le Mans Race, June 1969 - For the fourth year in a row, a Ford car won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1969. In fact, it was the second year in a row for the same car -- GT40 chassis #1075, racing as #6. Drivers Jacky Ickx of Belgium and Jackie Oliver of Great Britain finished just a few seconds ahead of the second-place Porsche.
