The Ford GT's success at Le Mans, where it won four years in a row from 1966 to 1969, made it a popular design for slot car racers. This HO scale car isn't a precise replica. Compromises were made to accommodate the electric motor inside. But such details probably didn't bother the enthusiast who raced it around the track.
