1929 Ford Model A Town Car

Summary

Ford's Model A chassis proved highly adaptable to different body styles. Among the more unusual was the Town Car. It had the look of a luxury limousine -- with a $1,400 price tag to match. Mechanically, though, it was identical to the $450 Model A Roadster. Luxury buyers weren't interested in Fords, and only about 1,200 Town Cars were built.
